Foreign Minister of Russia sites proposal on joint operation of Gabala radar station among significant events of 2007

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sited a proposal on joint operation of the Gabala radar station among five most important events, which occurred in the external policy of Russia in 2007.

Foreign Minister of Russia also mentioned the situation with missile defense among the most important events in the external policy.

He said the proposal of Russia's President Vladimir Putin on the joint operation of the Gabala radar station put forward during the meeting with US President George Bush in the framework of the Great Eight summit in Germany, is unprecedented.
