Azerbaijani government compensates ? 10.000 to one of opposition leaders

Azerbaijani government has compensated ? 10.000 to Azerbaijan Democratic Party chairman Sardar Jalaloglu by the decision of the European Court of Human Rights.
The goveremnt’s representative to the court got the party chairman’s bank account after the court decision was announced. “It was clear some days ago that the money had been transferred to my bank account.” Jalaloglu said he has already spent some amount on the party’s problems.

ADP chairman he have appealed to the European Court on regarding two issues. They are on non-recognition of his parliamentary authorities and his illegal arrest in 2003, “I hope these issues will be reviewed and a fair decision will be made.” 

The European Court passed a decision in March, this year on Sardar Jalaloglu’s arrest aftermath the 2003 presidential elections and undergoing torture in detention.
