Azerbaijan's political power is not yet ready for election of Baku mayor

He stated that the Congress gave two recommendations to Baku while Azerbaijan joined the Charter of Local Self-Government. One of the recommendations was the election of Baku mayor, the other establishment of association of local authorities.

The second recommendation was carried out and three associations-city, settlement and village associations have been established in the end of last year.

Boner said that Armenia and Georgia implemented the recommendations regarding electing City Mayors.

Tbilisi Mayor is already elected, and Armenian Constitution has been amended correspondingly, APA reports.
