Washington to mark 28 May-Azerbaijan's Independence Day

Azerbaijan's Independence Day will be marked in the capital of the United States.

Taking account of the 15th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United States and Azerbaijan's contribution to the development of democracy in South Caucasus, Adrian M. Fenty, Mayor of Washington, has issued a decision on celebration of 28 May-the Independence Day of Azerbaijan in Washington DC, Azerbaijan's Embassy told.

He also took note of Azerbaijanis' loyalty and contributions to the science in the United States, APA reports.
