New plan of Actions is being prepared on NATO - Azerbaijan cooperation

"Araz Azimov said this plan of actions cover the following two years."

"Draft plan is being prepared now by Foreign Ministry. The document will be presented to NATO after improved by corresponding bodies."

As to intensive dialogue between Azerbaijan and NATO Araz Azimov said this stage of cooperation focuses on quite different issues. He said Azerbaijan is interested in the expansion of cooperation with NATO.

"Cooperation with NATO is carried out in the spheres chosen by the sides. The cooperation is being carried out on the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) now. This plan covers issues on reforms in security field, fighting terrorism, security of energy and infrastructures."
