Polish president meets Azerbaijani parliament speaker

Polish President Lech Kaczynski received Wednesday visiting Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov to discuss issues related to bilateral political, cultural and energy cooperation.

The two leaders positively evaluated results of the recent Cracow summit on energy cooperation and underlined the importance of strengthening mutual relations.

Kaczynski assured his guest about Poland's support for Azerbaijan's effort to be included in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

He declared he would go to Baku this June for a GUAM summit, Polish news agency (PAP) reported. Xinhua
