President Aliyev receives Hungarian FM

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Hungarian Foreign Minister Kinga Goncz.

Goncz underlined that the relations between Hungary and Azerbaijan are speedily developing and said cooperation on economic, energy, agricultural and other spheres will be debated during her visit.

Minister underlined that Azerbaijan has became a close neighbor of the European Union, and New Neighborhood Policy is of great importance for the European Union.

President Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the relations with Hungary and is interested in expanding our relations in various spheres.

He said the cooperation between Azerbaijan and European Union is in a new stage and our country joined the New Neighborhood Policy.

Mentioning that Azerbaijan and European Union signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership on energy issues Ilham Aliyev underlined that all these contribute to the expansion of the cooperation. APA
