Azerbaijan refuses to talk on returning of its 6, 500 political refugees to home

"This is not a matter of deportation but a matter of international legislation. Every state is responsible for its citizens. If these persons are the citizens of concrete country, that country should provide the returning of its people. Azerbaijan and Germany should cooperate, hold negotiations to solve the problem to which Baku has not yet reacted. We have offered to hold talks recently. We want to know how to act in the next stage. German delegation arrived in Baku for this issue several months ago. But Azerbaijan did not send any delegation. Azerbaijan seems to refuse to start negotiations regarding this issue," the Ambassador underlined.
