Amendments to Azerbaijan's Electoral Code to be debated in Strasbourg

The issue on the amendments to Azerbaijan's Electoral Code will be debated on May 30 in Strasbourg.

Chief of Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov told the APA the amendments proposed to the Electoral Code will be debated with the Council of Europe Venice Commission.

Panahov noted that the members of the working group will also participate in the debates.

The CEC chief said that the proposals sent to the Venice Commission by Azadliq alliance on amendments to the Electoral Code will also be discussed.
