Alan Waddams may lead EU office in Azerbaijan

Peter Semneby, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus told APA that the European Union is to open its representation in Azerbaijan by the end of the year. The head of the representation will be appointed at that time.

Peter Semneby, who is to visit Azerbaijan next month, said he is deeply concerned about the condition of freedom of press in Azerbaijan.

EU Special Envoy said he intends to hold talks with Azerbaijani officials within the visit.
