President Ilham Aliyev receives UN Special Rapporteur

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Ambeyi Ligabo the Special Rapporteur on the right to freedom of opinion and expression.

As APA reports, Ambeyi Ligabo expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the international conference on the Role of Media in the Development of Tolerance and Mutual Understanding in Baku and stressed the importance of the event.

The sides exchanged views on the current activities for ensuring freedom of opinion and expression and cooperation with the UN in this field.
