Foreign Ministry welcomes restoration of first version of US State Department initial 2006 country reports

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry welcomed the restoration of the first version of US State Department initial 2006 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, the Ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry stated that the US confirmed its principle position on supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including its occupied territory of Nagorno Karabakh and seven surrounding regions, APA reports.

"The misunderstanding has been solved. Bilateral security talks between Azerbaijan and the US will be rescheduled soon," the statement says.
