SANAM representative to UNPO resigns

26 April 2007 [11:56] - TODAY.AZ
Davud Savalanoglu, representative of South Azerbaijan Awakening Movement (SANAM) to Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) made statement on his resignation.

Savalanoglu accused SANAM leadership of antidemocratic activity, Huseyn Turkeli, former chief of SANAM America-Canada Organization told the APA.

"SANAM is far from democracy. Mahmudeli Chohraganli abuses his power to get extraordinary authorities. Taking all this into account I consider that my activity in this organization is useless and resign from the posts of representative of UNPO and Federal National Congress," Savalanoglu said.

Agri Garadagli, press secretary of SANAM Azerbaijan representation said Turkelli's reports are not true.
