Ramil Usubov receives UN Special Rapporteur

Azerbaijan's Interior Minister, General Colonel Ramil Ususbov today received Ambeyi Ligabo, UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression, the Ministry's Press service told.

The Minister informed the visitor about socio-political processes, democratic reforms, and state of fighting crimes in Azerbaijan after the country gained its independence.

They spoke about the Ministry's relations with Press Council and other media organizations. The sides also discussed issues of mutual interest, APA reports.
