APFP members attended conferences on behalf of ADP, Jalaloglu says

18 April 2007 [21:10] - TODAY.AZ
Members of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) attended the conferences on behalf of Azerbaijan Democrat Party (ADP) held by Rasul Guliyev's supporters in the regions.

"Therefore we think that APFP helped the formation of another group on behalf of ADP. It means interfering with internal affairs of a party," Serdar Jalaloglu, chief of Organizing Committee for Preparation for the Congress of ADP told the APA.

He said that members of APFP attended the meeting of ADP in Neftchala. Jalaloglu did not rule out analogous cases in other regions. He considers that APFP leadership has to take a stance on the problem.

"I informed Ali Kerimli of it and he promised to clarify the situation. But he has not answered yet," he said.

APFP Deputy Chief Hasan Kerimov denied the accusations. He said members of APFP attended the conference organized by Rasul Guliyev's supporters in Neftchala.

"But they were invited to the conference by organizers as guests. Therefore, we do not accept this accusation," he said.

Kerimov said that ADP leadership was informed of the problem.
