The leader of True Path Party Mehmet Agar told the Sabah newspaper, APA reports.
He said he asked Prime Minister to think about the future of the country.
"According to me, the presidency is Erdogan's personal legal and democratic right. No one should demand him to not to use his right by force. Prime Minister Erdogan should first decide where Turkey will head in the upcoming period before deciding about his candidacy. Therefore, he should decide which part of the ship he plans to sail. If he makes this decision, the base for compromise exists."
Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association's (TUSIAD) chairman Arzuhan Yalchidagh Doghan also thinks that Erdogan will not announce his candidacy for presidency.
Some observers in Turkey think one of the members of Turkey's AKP (Justice and Development Party) whose wife does not wear headscarf will race for presidency.
In this case, the names of Defense Minister Vajdi Konul, State Ministers Mehmet Aydin, Bashir Atalay and the chairman of parliament’s justice commission Koksal Toptan are in the list.
