US Assistant Secretary of State to visit Azerbaijan

Soon the US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Barry Lowenkron will visit Azerbaijan again, US Embassy Public Affairs Officer Jonathan Henick told.

He said that the democratization process in Azerbaijan will be discussed during Mr.Lowenkron’s visit. This issue was discussed at the meeting of Lowenkron and Azerbaijani Foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku in December, 2006.

Later on, the sides discussed the issue during Mammadyarov’s visit to Washington last month, APA reports.
