Lebanon recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov visiting Lebanon met with President Emil Lahoud.

Discussing the situation in the region, the sides expressed preparedness to close cooperation in the field of security and peace and to support each other in the framework of various projects and international organizations.

Mr.Lahud stated they recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Mammadyarov stressed he wishes maintenance of peace and stability in Lebanon.

Azerbaijani minister is also to meet with Prime Minister Fuad Siniora and Parliament speaker Nabi Beri in Beirut. APA
