Samad Seyidov: "We welcome opposition representation in our delegation to PACE"

According to the commitments before the Council of Europe, MPs from ruling and opposition parties, also independent parliament members are to be in the composition of the delegation, the head of Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told.

Mr.Seyidov said no one can interfere with parliament's privileges. He said the delegation is composed of the parliament members.

"I do not know who most is and who least opposition member. Iltizam Akbarli is also from opposition. He is offered to be the member of the Azerbaijani delegation," he said.

Samad Seyidov said if Iltizam Akbarli refuses representation offer it may create problems for them, APA reports.

"It creates no problem for us. Doing so they isolate themselves from the delegation. Both we and the Council of Europe invite them. If they agree we welcome it but if they do not want it is their own job," Seyidov concluded.
