President Aliyev receives RTUK Chairman

"We have close relations with Turkey in all fields. It is very pleasing to witness these warm relations. It is especially very important to watch Turkish tv channels in Azerbaijan and watch Azerbaijani tv channels in Turkey," said Ilham Aliyev. Aliyev noted that cooperation in tv broadcasting is highly essential.

Having been invited to Baku by his Azerbaijani counterpart Nusirevan Meherremli, Zahid Akman stated that "continuation of brotherly relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan depends highly on publicity of cultures." Akman added that television stations play a vital role in informing viewers about cultures.
