He said that the report will be debated by late April, APA reports.
"The document is to be debated by April 30, and the UN General Assembly is to give its proposals. But the debate can be rescheduled if necessary. There is no need for it yet and we plan to debate the report on the fires on occupied Azerbaijani territories drawn up by the OSCE by late April," he said.
The ambassador said he has analyzed the report to be debated in UN General Assembly.
"The report states that fires in the occupied Azerbaijani territories are very serious, and must be prevented. Exchange of fire on the contact line of the troops is among the causes," he said.
Mr.Mehdiyev said the issue on "frozen conflicts" in the GUAM territory will be debated by the end of the UN General Assembly’s session. The session will be over in August.
