Council of Europe experts studies proposals on amendments to Azerbaijan's Criminal Code

The aim of the visit is to study proposals to be presented to the Parliament on amendments to Azerbaijan's Criminal Code and determine their conformation to the CE.

Experts of the Council of Europe recommended Azerbaijani government to make a number of amendments to the Criminal Code in 2005. A working group at the Supreme Court was set up to prepare proposals to the Parliament on the basis of them.

The experts arrived in Baku to get acquainted with the proposals of this group and assess them. APA
