Polish President visits Azerbaijan

Polish President was welcomed by Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and other officials at the Heydar Aliyev Airport.

The President started his visit by laying wreath on Heydar Aliyev's tomb and later met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The President spoke about successful development of cooperation in all spheres and noted that the presidents' visits will contribute to the development of these relations.

The head of state Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated cooperation of Azerbaijan and Poland on the level of international organizations and said that Azerbaijan can use Poland's experience on integration into Europe.

The negotiations continued with participation of delegations. The meeting is still continuing.

Azerbaijan and Poland will sign documents after the negotiations. Ilham Aliyev and Lech Kaczy?ski will hold press conference after the signing ceremony.

Polish President will tomorrow meet with Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh and speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov and visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Catholic Church, APA reports.
