Jerusalem hosts meeting to choose members to congress of Azerbaijani community in Israel

A meeting for choosing members to the coordinating congress of Azerbaijani community in Israel was held in Jerusalem March 18.

The meeting focused on establishing Israel-Azerbaijan Friendship and Cooperation Association in the coordinating congress to be held in Tel Aviv on April 12.

Israeli MP Iosif Shagal said that establishment of the association will be the first step in forming strong Azerbaijani Diaspora in Israel.

About 100,000 people, who have moved from Azerbaijan, are living in Israel, APA reports.
