Ali Insanov and lawyer protest against court's composition

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

Insanov's lawyer Agaveys Shahverdi solicited and protested against Judge Faig Gasimov who presides the trial.

The lawyer based his solicitation on the fact that the judge dismisses their solicitations and the trial conducted by him fails to be in line with the legislation. The court dismissed the solicitation after the brief.

Then ex-minister Ali Insanov protested against the court's composition. Public prosecutor Kamran Aliyev protested Insanov's solicitation and asked to dismiss the solicitation. The court dismissed the solicitation.

Then Yunis Veliyev, representative of Zinyet Kerimova, former Economic Development Minister Farhad Aliyev's mother-in-law, solicited and Prosecutor General is civil defender against them. The representative noted that he does not have right to ask question to prosecutor and asked the court to create condition for him to ask questions. The representative also asked the court to involve Health Ministry and State Committee on Management of State Property into the case. The solicitation was dismissed.

The trial will continue in the second half of the day.
