President Aliyev ends visit in Tajikistan

Two sides exchanged views on the expansion of interparliamentary relations and underlined the importance of expanding relations in political, economic and cultural spheres between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

President Ilham Aliyev ended his visit after that. The head of state will today return to Azerbaijan.

This is the first visit of Azerbaijani President to Tajikistan since it gained its independence.

Tajikistan's President Emomoli Rahmonov will visit Azerbaijan in the end of this year in accordance with the agreement reached during the visit, APA Central Asian bureau reports.
