Khankendi EC to increase number of polling stations

16 March 2007 [08:21] - TODAY.AZ
Election Constituency (EC) of Khankendi #122 intends to increase the number of polling stations in the area.

DEC has 9 stations at present, the chief of EC Allahverdi Dolukhanov told the APA.

Dolukhanov said that the residents of Khankendi had to come to the polling station established in one region under compulsion during voting day.

"The station should be established if more than 50 electors live in compact. 150 Khankendi electors living in Agchabadi had to vote in the station established in Barda. We shall deal with this problem after the lists of electors are delivered to CEC," Dolukhanov said.

Dolukhanov also noted that the defining process of the electors' lists has already been finished and there isn't Azeri from Armenian nation in the list for the present.
