GUAM national coordinators discuss preparations for Baku summit

Deputy Foreign Minster Araz Azimov represents Azerbaijan, Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister Valeri Chechelashvili represents Georgia, Foreign Minister and Minister of European Integration Valeri Ostalep represents Moldova and chairman-in-office of National Coordinators Council Andrey Veselovski represents Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told the APA.

The organization's activity, international, regional security and stability, positions of GUAM member states in international arena, cooperation in economy, trade, energy, transport, information technologies, culture, science and education, emergency situations, tourism, fighting against terrorism, delinquency and drugs are being discussed at the meeting.

Preparations for the second summit of GUAM to be held in Baku are also being discussed.

The meeting will continue on Friday.
