President Aliyev approves law on amendments to MPs' status

The Cabinet has been assigned to prepare its proposals on conformation of the legislative acts to the law on amendments to the law "On status of Azerbaijani parliamentarians" and submit to the President.

The Cabinet is to ensure the conformation of normative legal acts of the Cabinet and relevant executive bodies to the law and inform the president about it.

According to the law the assistants of parliamentarians are to be paid from the state budget and the labor legislation regulates their employment.

Additional requirements about the assistants are determined by the speaker's executive order, President's press service told the APA.
