Prosecutor's Office makes statement on dismissal of several prosecutors

Public affairs department chief of the prosecutor's office Eldar Efendiyev told the APA that Baku prosecutor and his deputy were dismissed due to the executive order of General Prosecutor signed on March 13. The officials were dismissed because of serious shortcomings in their work.

Due to the order, officials of Baku prosecutor's office and subordinate regional offices were dismissed or given severe reprimand because of the serious shortcomings and irregularities while conducting the preliminary investigation into some criminal cases.
