Elections to be held in Russian enclave of Azerbaijan

Parliamentary and local elections will be held in one of the two Russian enclaves in Khrakh oba village, Khachmaz region on March 11.

There are over 240 voters in thie settlement subordinated to the region of Maharramkand of Dagestan, Maharramkand Executive Power told the APA's Northern bureau.

Ballot-boxes and bulletins have already been brought to Khrakh oba. The preparations for the elections have already been finished, the voter of Khrakh oba village Ludmila Prokofyeva confirmed the information.

The enclave's voters told the APA that the main rivalry is between the supporters of the parties Yedinaya Rossiya and Patrioti Rossii.

No preparations have been made for the elections in Uryan oba, situated in Khachmaz and subordinated to Akhty region of Dagestan. The village residents told the APA's northern bureau that no propaganda is carried on in the enclave having over 20 voters.
