3 military camps to be abolished by the end of the year

The last three military camps in Azerbaijan will be abolished by the end of the year, Senan Huseynov, the officer of the State Committee on Work with Refugees and IDPs told.

He said that new settlements will be constructed for 4,179 IDP families settled in the military camps in Saatli, Sabirabad as well as in freight cars on the railway in Imishli.

5 settlements will be constructed for 2,104 IDP families from Fuzuli, 5 settlements for 1,858 IDP families from Jabrail, 35 IDP families from Aghdam, 21 IDP families from Lachin and 161 IDP families from Zengilan. Huseynov said that new settlements are expected to be built by the end of this year.

There had been 12 military camps in Azerbaijan. Nine of them have been abolished, APA reports.
