FM receives Regional Director of UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS

Kori Udovicki stated that some positives steps have been taken in cooperation of Azerbaijan with UNDP. She also highly appreciated Azerbaijan's policy, economic achievements, and development of non-oil sector.

In his turn, Elmar Mammadyarov stressed that Azerbaijan's successes in sphere of energy serve to development of social welfare of Azerbaijan, education and information technologies.

The Minister gave information about the participation of our country in regional projects and stressed that Azerbaijan became leader country in the region. He noted that there is need for continuation of cooperation with UNDP in order to increase its efforts for Azerbaijan to turn to donor country.

The meeting also covered discussions over development of human resources, development of agro-business, reduce of poverty and some other issues, APA reports.
