President Aliyev visits Shamakhi

The president first visited Shamakhi region. Having participated in the ceremony of laying down foundation of Shamakhi Medical Diagnostic Center build on the initiative of State Oil Company, the president noted that it is the 10th built center. AZN5m has been allocated to the construction of the center which is planned to be completed within a year.

President Ilham Aliyev also visited household appliances plant of which is included to "Evsen" Group of Companies. The president of the company Ali Evsen told the head of state that the plant will produce refrigerator, air-conditioner and washing-machine beginning from May, this year. The Institution will produce 300,000 air-conditioners, 200,000 refrigerators and 150,000 washing-machines. The equipment mainly brought from Taiwan, China, Italy, Japan and US. 1500 will be employed and their monthly salary will be AZN150-160. After getting acquainted with the plant, Azerbaijani President made speech in front of the public. The President noted that the construction of schools and hospitals is priority in his social policy. Stressing that Azerbaijan got great amount of incomes after the commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and most of these funds will be spent on the socio-economic development of the regions.

Salary increases gradually, health system develops. The budget incomes are mostly spent to implementation of infrastructure projects. Being the President I fulfill my obligations and report to the people, he said, APA's correspondent reports.
