Azerbaijani Armed Forces will achieve more progress

Deputy Chief of Turkish Armed Forces General Staff, General Ergin Saygun ended his visit in Azerbaijan.

Saygun said that he is satisfied with his meetings in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"The aim of my visit to Azerbaijan was to assess the relations between our Armed Forces and discuss future prospects. My visit was a great success," the general said.

Ergin Saygun highly appreciated current state of Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

"I think that Azerbaijani Armed Forces will achieve more progress soon," he said.

General Saygun started his visit to Azerbaijan on February 26. He had meetings in Defense Ministry, Special State Security Service, Interior Troops, Defense Ministry's Training Center and Armed Forces Military Academy.

General also met with President Ilham Aliyev and Defense Minister Safar Abiyev.
