Ombudsman appeals to Grievous Crimes Court chairperson

Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova has appealed to the Grievous Crimes Court chairperson Mahbud Nebiyev with a letter.

The letter reads that the office has received appeals that a group of reporters were not allowed to attend ex-minister Ali Insanov's trial presided over by Faig Gasimov.

Ombudsman advised the chairperson to ensure reporters' participation in the next procedures within the law.

Foreign companies interested to build insulin producing plant, APA reports.

Azerbaijan Investment Company is negotiating with four foreign companies including Novo Nodisk on construction of an insulin making plant in the country, said Executive Director Anar Akhundov.

He said that advanced technology and high quality will be required of the healthcare companies concerned because the newly established facility will be of regional importance.
