Talish Cultural Center deputy chief, poet and reporter of "Tolishi sedo" (Voice of Talish) newspaper Ali Nasir has been detained today in the morning, Hilal Mammedov, chief of the Committee for the Right Defense of Novruzeli Mammedov, chief of ANAS Institute of Linguistics, "Tolishi sedo" editor-in-chief who is now detained in the MNS detention place, told.

Nasir was caught by two in civilian attire in the morning when he was going to buy bread. Mammedov claims that he has been detained by the officers of Ministry of National Security in connection with the case of Novruzeli Mammedov.

Novruzeli was sentenced to 15 days in jail for resisting the police. On Feb 17 he was accused under the article 274 (high treason) of the Criminal Code, APA reports.

Member of ANAS Institute and "Tolishi sedo" Elman Guliyev was detained under the same article following him.
