Authorities from both countries will gather in a meeting titled "Turkish-Azeri diasporas International Congress" on March 9. The congress, which aims to prompt Turks and Azeris abroad to take immediate action, will develop an action plan.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also be in attendance at the meeting to be held in Baku.

Speaking to Zaman daily, Azeri deputy Genira Pashayeva drew attention to the high number of Turks and Azeris residing abroad, saying they should work in cooperation to influence their legislations through civic action and their voting power.
Stressing that acting sentimental has not worked in the international arena, Pashayeva added that Turks and Azeris should work hand-in-hand for a well-crafted strategy.
Pashayeva also noted that the Azeri parliament would declare the Hocal? massacre a 'genocide' in its plenary session on February 26.
Noting that they will initiate a comprehensive campaign to inform the world of the massacres committed by the Armenians in Hocali, Pashayeva also drew attention to the dire living conditions of the displaced populace during the Armenian invasion.
While saying that they have extensive evidence proving the war crimes committed by the Armenians along with a list displaced persons, Pashayeva added that they would submit this list to the Council of Europe. Today's Zaman
