European Parliament MP: "Azerbaijan is not Europe's neighbor, but inside Europe"

The parliamentarian said that all groups in Azerbaijan - government, opposition, NGOs and students will observe the implementation of the Action Plan signed between the European Union and Azerbaijan in close cooperation.

German ambassador to Azerbaijan Per Stankina said the first monitoring group will visit Azerbaijan two year after the signing of the Action Plan and control the implementation of the plan. He said that besides energy cooperation, EU is interested in stability in the region.

We would like Azerbaijan to approach to European standards and ideas, the ambassador said, APA reports.
