Mikhail Saakashvili: "Brotherhood relations will help solve border problems between Azerbaijan and Georgia"

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili hopes the border line with Azerbaijan will be agreed soon.

President told local and foreign reporters that the border in the territory of David Garechi monastery complex was determined in the USSR period.

"The Soviet government divided the monastery complex," he said.

Georgian President called the talks on the issue not "a discussion" but “a consultation”.

He stated that brotherhood relations will help to reach a speedy solution of the issue, APA reports.
