Moldovan Premier: "We offer Azerbaijan to create joint ventures"

23 February 2007 [16:03] - TODAY.AZ
The Governments are not satisfied with goods turnover between Azerbaijan and Moldova, Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev told at joint business forum held in Baku.

"Commodities turnover between the countries is $5mln. Although the figure rose 1.7% from the previous year, it is not satisfactory. We offered the Government of Azerbaijan to create joint ventures in agrarian, tourism, oil, non-oil, ICT and other sectors. Moldovan Government, too, is ready to create the necessary environment for Azeri companies," he noted.

He added that the bilateral commission suggested yesterday to establish trade houses in Baku and Chisinau and open flights between the capitals, APA reports.
