Iranian Ambassador: "Iran Islamic Council Assembly is appealed for recognition of Khojali genocide"

"The appeal sent to Iranian embassy for the recognition of Khojali genocide has been sent to Iran Islamic Council Assembly. It is in the Parliament's competence to discuss the issue," Iranian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani said.

The Ambassador said that Iran always underwent terrorist acts, APA reports.
 
"There is dual approach to both genocide and terrorist acts in the world, especially with regard to the genocides and terrorist acts against Muslim countries. Iran underwent such dual standards several times. We always condemn the acts against humanism," he said.
