Accusation acts about Ali Insanov and more five announced

Public Prosecutor announced accusation act about former minister Ali Insanov. According to the accusation act, Ali Insanov during his ministerial post from November 9, 1993 till October 20, 2005, abused his position and contradicting the legislative rules privatized establishments of individuals and legal entities, as well as medical establishments of state property. He organized a group composed of Fakhraddin Abbasov, Parviz Kazimov and others to realize his plans. Ex-minister abused his power and falsified the documents on existence of technical conditions of the establishments and industrial importance of their usage. And sometimes he created legal and actual basis to privatize the establishments. Ali Insanov has transferred three hospitals, four polyclinics, one clinic, one institute, one center and drug-store, five enterprises and land areas of the institutions, generally 16 establishments to his son Vidadi Insanov, daughter Ayla Shtele (Aliyeva), his nephew Anar Namazov, his relatives and subordinate people. He embezzled 5. 935sq/m un-residential area cost AZN10. 222. 552, 2 and 14. 953,6sq/m land cost AZN11. 505. 750.

Besides, the former minister took $200. 000 bribe from department chief of the ministry Vakil Abbasov and privatized institutes, centers, hospitals, polyclinics, clinics, drugstores costing great sum of money. The minister is also accused of embezzlement of state property of 13. 203, 8sq/m of un-residential area cost AZN13. 357. 468, 68 and 41. 060, 6sq/m area of land cost AZN14. 014. 567, 03, generally, state property cost AZN 27. 372. 035, 71.
According to accusation act, Akif Maharramov, and other officials of the department - Eldar Rzayev, Haji Aliyev and Shovgu Jafarov are accused of taking $121. 100 and AZN 2800 for bribe to grant license to the owners of drugstores violating the demands of the legislation.

Ali Insanov also gave instruction to the State Student Admission Commission to adopt 1077 entrants, that failed at test examinations or did not take part in the exams because of some reasons, to medical schools.

The tried former officials face charges of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery. Public prosecutor announced accusation acts about Fakhraddin Abbasov, Parviz Kazimov, Ali Insanov's nephew Anar Namazov, Fuad Mahmudov, officer of Helath Ministry Vakil Abbasov.

The trial will be continued on February 27 with accusation acts.

The investigation of criminal cases of former Minister Ali Insanov, former chief of Health Ministry pharmacology and medical equipment department Akif Maharramov, officers of the department Eldar Rzayev, Haji Aliyev, Shovgi Jafarov, former chief of the Ministry's international relations department Aleksandr Umnyashkin, former chief of the medical service department Vekil Abbasov, other officers of the ministry Fakhraddin Abbasov, Parviz Kazimov, Anar Namazov and Fuad Mahmudov is being held. Except the ex-minister, all other accused are released on bail, APA reports.
