US supports Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence

They exchanged views on Azerbaijan-US and Azerbaijan-NATO relations, APA reports.

Safar Abiyev informed the guests of the current military-political situation in the South Caucasus, noted that 20% of Azerbaijan’s lands have been occupied by Armenia and the talks between President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President and OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs' efforts in the direction of settlement of the conflict achieved no results.

"We think that it's high time to demand Armenia, broke international norms and occupied Azerbaijani territories, to release our lands," the Minister said.

Peter W. Rodman stated that the US supports Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.
 
US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse also participated in the meeting.
