Rafael Huseynov suggests adding Turkish to the CE working languages

The member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, parliamentarian Rafael Huseynov gave a written question to the CE Committee of Ministers.

Rafael Huseynov said that Turkey has been one of the active members of the CE since it was established – 1949, the languages used in Azerbaijan and Turkey has the same root and the use of Azerbaijani and Turkish languages have a positive influence on the CE activity and suggested adding Turkish to the working languages.

"Taking all these into account wouldn"t it be admissible to add Turkish to the working languages of the CE?" he said, APA correspondent in Strasbourg reports.
