Turkish Ambassador presented copy of credentials to FM Elmar Mammedyarov

Huseyn Avni expressed his satisfaction over the high level of Azerbaijan-Turkish relations.

He said that he will contribute to the improvement of relations. Elmar Mammedyarov congratulated the ambassador on initialing agreement on Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkelek-Kars railway project with the participation of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.

He also expressed his assuredness that the project will be successful. The Minister pointed out that it is necessary to ensure the safety of the project.

The Ambassador pointed out trade cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan and Turkish investment noting that Turkey is also interested in oil-gas sector, especially agrarian industry and weaving industry.

He mentioned the conference of Turkish speaking state leaders in Antalya, stating that the idea to hold a joint meeting of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas is of great importance.

Then Huseyn Avni presented a copy of credentials to the minister of foreign affairs, APA reports.
