Sabine Freizer promoted to Europe Program Director

Sabine Freizer who served for two and a half years as International Crisis Group Caucasus Project Director, based in Tbilisi, has been promoted to the position of Europe Program Director with ICG. She will take up her assignment on February 1.

International Crisis Group representative in Azerbaijan, Vugar Gojayev, told the APA that Sabine Freizer will be based in the ICG headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, from where she will cover the European Union, Turkey, Balkans, South Caucasus and western CIS. Her successor in Tbilisi will be appointed in February 2007.
