GUAM Peacekeeping Forces to be set up by late February

Ukraine Defense Ministry international relations department Chief Ivan Androsenko told APA that the structure, staff, format and organization of the peacekeeping forces are being discussed at GUAM's headquarters at present.

"The next meeting of the experts will be held in February. Then representatives will meet and make their proposals, and sign document. The regulation of the Peacekeeping Forces will be approved after the document is signed," he said.

Ivan Androsenko also stated that the sides are discussing the place of the meeting. The meeting will be held either in Baku or Kishinev. He added that the defense ministers will meet and the document will be approved on ministers' level.
