Azeri FM to visit Tehran

Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and health Minster Ogtay Shiraliyev are expected to visit Iran, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani told the APA exclusively.

Iran Islamic Council chairman Hattat Adili and Education, Research and Technology minister Mahammadverdi Zahid are expected to visit Azerbaijan.

The ambassador said the exact dates of the visits are unknown.

He also said that State Customs Committee chief Aydin Aliyev has invited his Iranian counterpart to Azerbaijan. Afshar Suleymani said the talks on Caspian's status between Azerbaijan and Iran will continue next year and added that the talks are not unsuccessful.

"Bilateral talks and the talks with participation of representatives of the Caspian states will continue. It would be wrong to say that the talks are unproductive. There are positive changes in this direction," he said.
