President received Chair of PACE Political Affairs Committee

Mr. Atesh said he was particularly pleased with the fact that the meeting of Political Affairs Committee in Baku coincided with his chairmanship of the Committee.

He noted he was impressed by the great changes occurred in Azerbaijan since his previous visit to Baku in his capacity as the Turkey's Tourism Minister.

President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of holding the meeting of the PACE Political Affairs Committee in Baku. On the progress achieved in Azerbaijan in political, economic and other fields, he expressed confidence that the country will be further modernized and developed.

The Head of State and PACE Political Affairs Committee's Chairperson also exchanged views on a number of issues concerning Azerbaijan-PACE cooperation, AzerTAg reports.
